As winter deepens, cooperation warms up. From November 26 to 27, 2025, a delegation led by Anna, Head of the Faculty of Economics and Business, and Suyanti, Director of the Office of International Exchange and Cooperation from Universitas Negeri Jakarta (UNJ) in Indonesia, visited Hebei International Studies University (HISU). The two-day in-depth exchange has elevated the international cooperation between the two universities to a new level.
On November 26, three faculty members from UNJ held an exchange seminar with 15 junior undergraduate students from HISU. The Indonesian educators shared their academic insights, educational philosophies and cultural perspectives, while HISU students demonstrated the fruitful outcomes of the university’s “Foreign Language + Major” interdisciplinary talent cultivation model through their solid linguistic proficiency, broad international outlook and confident expression. Their performance fully reflected HISU’s remarkable achievements in fostering high-quality applied talents with “a Chinese heart and a global vision”.
On the morning of November 27, a cooperation negotiation meeting was held between the two parties. Chen Wei, Vice President of International Affairs at HISU, Xiao Ping, Dean of the School of International Finance, along with other relevant officials, joined the delegation from UNJ in reviewing the foundation of their friendly exchanges. Vice President Chen Wei focused on introducing HISU’s achievements in its “Foreign Language + Major” talent cultivation model, the development of applied disciplines, and its contributions to serving the Belt and Road Initiative.
During the constructive talks, the two parties conducted in-depth discussions and reached consensus on student exchange, faculty exchange, scientific research cooperation, and agreement review.
