Recently, Hebei
International Studies University and Politeknik Negeri Batam, officially held a
cooperation signing ceremony, marking the establishment of a strategic
partnership between the two institutions and jointly building an important
platform for educational exchange and cooperation.
At the signing
ceremony, Academician Sun Jianzhong, the chairman and president of Hebei
International Studies University, signed the cooperation agreement on behalf of
the university. Vice President Chen Wei in charge of foreign affairs,
Administrative Dean Xiao Ping, Teaching Dean Li Zehui and Wang Xu of the School
of International Finance, among others, attended the ceremony and witnessed
this milestone moment together.
The conclusion of
this strategic cooperation has laid a solid foundation for in-depth
collaboration between the two universities in multiple fields. According to the
consensus reached, both sides will focus on core areas such as academic
exchanges, mutual visits of teaching staff, joint cultivation of students, and
scientific research innovation, fully leveraging their respective disciplinary
strengths and educational resource endowments to jointly promote high-quality
development of international education. The cooperation aims to cultivate
high-quality, versatile talents with a global perspective and cross-cultural
communication skills, injecting educational power into enhancing friendly
relations between China and Indonesia and consolidating the foundation of
people-to-people exchanges.
As a public higher
education institution directly under the Ministry of Education of Indonesia,
Politeknik Negeri Batam is located in Batam City, Riau Islands Province. It is
one of the most influential polytechnic university in Indonesia. The university
focuses on engineering, information technology, management and design as its
core disciplines. It always adheres to the educational philosophy of giving
equal emphasis to practical teaching and the cultivation of innovation ability.
It has established long-term and stable cooperative relations with many
well-known international universities and enterprises. With its
