Hebei International Studies University Forges New Partnership with Universidad Central de Venezuela: Delegation Visit Culminates in Signing of Bilateral Cooperation Agreement

On August 28th, Hebei International Studies University was honored to receive a delegation from Universidad Central de Venezuela (UCV), headed by First Vice Rector Fátima, alongside Prof. Aymara, Director of the Venezuela-China Research Center (CECHIN-UCV), and Prof. Jorge Yépez, Full Professor of the Department of Statistics and Actuarial Science. The delegates were warmly received by Academician Sun Jianzhong, Chairman and President of the HISU.



In the Conference Room 518, Dazhonghua Office Building, Academician Sun Jianzhong, Chairman and President of HISU, introduced Vice Rector Fátima and her delegation to HISU’s latest developments in campus construction, international collaborations, educational innovation, and research achievements. After the presentation, Vice Rector Fátima remarked, “This is the largest university I have ever visited in China. The comprehensive range of academic programs and the distinctive architectural style are truly impressive. We are highly interested in pursuing in-depth exchanges and cooperation with HISU in fields such as Artificial Intelligence, Architectural Engineering, and Medical Sciences.”




Following the meeting, both parties proceeded to the Smart Conference Room, where HISU and the CUV officially signed a cooperation agreement in the presence of university leadership and the deans of all 16 secondary schools.



Accompanied by Academician Sun Jianzhong, Chairman and President of the HISU; Professor Xi Wei, Vice Chairman and Executive President; and Dr. Yang Zhen, President's Assistant for Foreign Affairs and Vice President, the delegation from the CUV toured the university’s History Museum, Moot Court, and specialized training rooms for unmanned aerial vehicles, computer science, arts, and medical sciences. The visit concluded with an immersive experience in the Management Decision Capsule, where the guests observed first-hand the institution’s smart campus initiatives.
